Under the direction of the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors and Board of Health, YCCHS launched Yavapai County’s free prescription discount program in 2007 to help consumers cope with the high price of prescriptions. These prescription discount cards are available under a program sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo), that offers substantial savings off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs.
